Introduction of prompts in AI illustration generation [composition / camera angle / facial expression]
There are times when you have trouble coming up with words to type in a prompt. This article is for you to use in such cases. I have compiled the prompts by genre. The samples are generated using SDXL’s Animagine XL V3.1. We will not introduce model-specific prompts, so you will be able to use them for a variety of models. The prompt is marked and can be copied by clicking on it.
Camera angle and composition prompts
These are important prompts in illustration generation. The better you are able to use these prompts, the easier it will be to produce the composition you are aiming for.
Camera angle
Shooting from the front
Prompt:Shooting from above
Prompt:Shooting from below
Prompt:Shooting from the side
Prompt:Shooting from behind
Prompt:If you want them to turn around, use . You can generate a result like the sample, except without the face prompt.
Shooting overhead
Prompt:It generates an angle similar to shooting from above, but it is used when shooting a lying subject from directly above.
First-person, subjective viewpoint
Prompt:POV is an abbreviation for point of view, and when used with , it can be used to generate a subjective view of the hand, such as in the sample.
Tilted Shooting
Prompt:Generates a composition with the camera tilted. This angle is more eye-catching than a normal composition.
Framing height
Full-length
Prompt:Use when you want to capture the whole body. The full-body composition tends to be broken by the small size of the face, so use ADetailer or inpaint to correct it.
Crotch to top
Prompt:It is used when you want to capture a person from the crotch up. If the aspect ratio is similar to the sample, you may want to look up to capture the person.
Abdomen to top
Prompt:It is a subtle height, but in some cases it can be a medium shot or a close shot.
Chest to top
Prompt:Shoulders to top
Prompt:This prompt may not generate well depending on the aspect ratio.
Neck to top
Prompt:In some cases, it is quite close.
Lower half of body
Prompt:It is not often used, but if you are creating a story, there may come a time when you will use it.
Facial Expression Prompts
This is a prompt for expressing facial expressions. This one is also a major factor in the quality of generation. It is roughly divided by Robert Plutchick’s 🔗8 primary emotions.
